The Groton Historical Society is a private non-profit organization and relies on contributions from individuals, businesses and corporations to assist in carrying out both short and long-term projects. Every gift is important and appreciated. Help us continue to connect with the community to inspire curiosity, learning, and passion for our history!
The Groton Historical Society dba Groton History Center is a private, non-profit 501c(3) charitable organization. All donations to the Museum are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Endowment
– What and Why
We launched our Endowment Campaign in June 2022 after analyzing our short and long term goals. To be the best steward of unique historical documents, artifacts, and photographs; and, to be a strong community partner in Groton by sharing the culture and legacy of the town, the Board of Directors has committed to significantly increasing our endowment over the next three years. This will allow us the ability to grow and implement projects that will directly benefit the community.
