Groton is fortunate to have always been home to people who truly care about preserving and sharing the past. It is due to these countless people, both historic and contemporary, that we are lucky enough to be stewards of a vast and important array of documents, artifacts, and information that tell the story of Groton from its 17th century beginning as a frontier town to its current day changing face of Main Street.
